The donors at the "Leadership" level of giving at MICA were invited to a cocktail reception opening the Juried Undergraduate Exhibit. For such an esteemed level of arts donor, a highly creative invitation was called for. Playing with the visual effects of transparency and color, a "vision" themed invitation was developed, centering around the Jonathan Swift quote "Vision is the Art of seeing the Invisible." The entire message of the invite could only be discerned when the transparent red fly sheet was placed over the card.
